Real Estate Industry unaffected by the Pandemic crisis

Real Estate sales in Brownsville have been unfazed by the Pandemic crisis, reaching record numbers of homes being sold, despite price increases. A new report by Texas Real Estate Research Centers has shown an increase of home sales by 22% in Brownsville and of 22% in Harlingen.

A factor of this may be the stay at home order, people have been staying more at home and working from it, needing space for home offices and realizing they need more space overall.

Another factor may be the low interest rates and an economic development on the rise, making it interesting for people out of town to invest in both Brownsville and Harlingen.
