Residents of McAllen can get COVID 19 vaccine on March 3rd

A COVID 19 vaccine Clinic will be open on Wednesday March 3 at the McAllen Convention Center. People pre registered will begin getting the vaccine at 8:00 am.

Residents from the RGV interested in getting the vaccine can register online at https://mcallen.jotform.com or via drive thru at the McAllen Performing Arts Center Parking lot this Tuesday at 9 a.m. 

For registration and on wednesday face masks and social distancing is required, and temperature scans will be mandatory at the entrance. People who have been exposed to COVID in the last few weeks or presenting COVID 19 symptoms are encouraged to stay home and avoid attending this event.

COVID 19 vaccines will be administered by McAllen I.S.D. school nurses and Hidalgo County Health and Human Services Department nurses.
