Rio Grande Valley Non Profit Organization “Keep McAllen Beautiful” wants to help elderly residents that have been affected by the surprising february freeze and have not been able to clean their gardens from dead plants and bushes.

Chris Lash from KMB said:

“Keep McAllen Beautiful received so many calls of elderly McAllen residents in our community who were asking for assistance to remove the small plants and bushes that froze and died after last month’s winter storm”.

The Organization is also looking for new volunteers that could help, encouraging 16 year olds and older residents who want to join to contact them at their website keepmcallenbeautiful.org or call (956) 681 4560.
