South Padre Island lifts COVID 19 restrictions

Today, March 10 Governor Greg Abbott executive order GA-3A, that allows business to open 100% and lifts masks mandate goes into effect, the order also stated that each County would keep some restrictions and face masks mandate if they needed to. 

Yesterday’s night, South Padre Island Mayor Patrick McNulty rescinded the emergency order joining many other cities across the state that have lift measures starting today March 10 at 12:01 a.m. 

That order also includes Beaches, just in time for Spring Break, even with the restrictions lifted, some measures have been in placed, this include Beach vendors and Beach Visitors, some of them, listed bellow: 

Beach Vendors can only preset the front-row following the spacing guidelines below. All non-single pole shade structures will be prohibited. All single-pole shade structures will be separated by a minimum of 15 feet from the outside edge/tip of the structure.

For Beach goers they will only be allowed two chairs per single pole shade structure will be permitted. All single-pole shade structures will be separated by a minimum of 15 feet from the outside edge/tip of the structure. Other setups are prohibited within the 15 feet between the equipment.
