On Tuesday three more coronavirus-related deaths were reported on the county. Two women from Edinburg and Mercedes and a man from an undisclosed city in Hidalgo County.
The county also reported 974 positive cases of COVID-19, from which 924 are confirmed, 38 are probable and 12 cases are suspect.
As to this day, 2,711 people have died, and 82,222 people have tested positive for coronavirus.
