March Madness is approaching and with the beaches of South Padre Island full of college students prepared for the college basketball season, sports bars are more than ready to welcome the youngsters who want to have a good time.
The restaurateurs and owners of bars eagerly await the kids who despite being fewer than in previous years are still expected to bring some life to the places and also some money that due to the pandemic has been a problem for more than one’s.
The owners of a sports bar “Kraken” mention that they are ready to greet the boys as soon as the sun sets and they leave the beach.
Measures such as social distancing and the use of face masks are being respected as far as possible, however, it is not being imposed as an obligation.
The CDC also indicates that it is better to stay in outdoor spaces since these are safer when hanging out in these places.
