Hidalgo County reported three deaths and 179 positive cases. Since the beginning of the pandemic, the county has reported 2,754 deaths because of COVID 19.
Two women and a man have died this Thursday because of COVID 19 related symptoms in Hidalgo County. The one of the women reported dead was in her 40s, while the other woman and the men were in their 70s.
For the 179 positive cases, 41 have been confirmed, 115 are probable and 23 are suspect.
Texas has announced that beginning next Monday all adults will be eligible for COVID 19 vaccine.
