Cameron County reports 7 coronavirus- related deaths

Cameron County reported 184 positive COVID-19 cases and seven deaths this Monday. Since the beginning of the pandemic, the county has reported 1,588 coronavirus-related deaths.

Three women and four men died because of COVID 19 related symptoms, according to a Cameron County release. The victims were from the cities of Brownsville, Harlingen, and San Benito.

In the release, it was also reported that 184 residents have tested positive for COVID-19.

Since the pandemic started, 38,864 people in Cameron County have tested positive, and 35,952 have recovered from the virus.
