It’s movie time! Houston will host the 54th annual WorldFest later this month.
The Houston International Film Festival will take place at Cinemark 16 in Memorial City Mall from April 22 to 25.
The festival will screen 35 new award-winning independent feature films as well as over 100 short films from around the world.
WorldFest aims to “recognize and honor outstanding artistic excellence in film, to validate brilliant skills, to encourage cultural tourism for Houston, to educate young people in the cinematic arts, to improve film production in the area, and to add to the city of Houston’s rich cultural fabric,” according to its website.
