The Hidalgo County Sheriff’s office has found the body of a man near an abandoned vehicle in the north of Alton.
The unidentified body was found in a brushy area on Conway Avenue south of Highway in a rural portion of Hidalgo County north of Alton at 5:43 pm.
An initial review of the body showed no signals of foul play. The case is still under investigation.
