According to the Centers for Disease Control one-third of Texans have received at least one dose of the coronavirus vaccine.
The CDC reported 30.6% of the state’s residents, more than 8.8 million have been given one vaccination, and 18.2%, more than 5.2 million have been fully vaccinated.
Vaccination is still ongoing in the state, cases of COVID-19 in Texas have been decreasing over the past weeks by a 12.1% with an average of 461.7 cases, according to data from Johns Hopkins University.
