Harlingen Mayor Chris Boswell announced the arrival of a multinational tech company to the city.
TaskUs is arriving in Harlingen and making troubled Valle Vista Mall its new location, also offering over 1,000 jobs for residents.
“In December 2020, TaskUs announced Harlingen as its third Texas location,” Boswell said.
The company has already hired 500 people and is offering 1,000 more jobs. Covering the full space of 10,000 sq. ft of the former Mall.
