Natural disasters can happen all year round, but you can prepare for them this weekend with Emergency preparation supplies sales Tax Holiday, an opportunity for Texas to buy items to use during hurricane season at a lower cost.

This opportunity will be available in Texas from April 24 to 26, and the items residents could buy at a discount are:

*Several over-the-counter self-care items, such as antibacterial hand sanitizer, soap, spray and wipes, are always exempt from sales tax if they are labeled with a “Drug Facts” panel in accordance with federal Food and Drug Administration (FDA) regulations.

Hurricane season starts on June 1, preparing for it is advised by experts and authorities, with the COVID-19 pandemic, it is also advised to add face masks and antibacterial products to your emergency kits.
