Cameron County has reported one coronavirus-related death, and 62 new positive cases of COVID-19.
One man from Brownsville died as a result of the virus according to a report from Cameron County officials.
The death toll since the COVID-19 pandemic began 1,605 people have died because of coronavirus.
Since the pandemic started, 39,974 people in Cameron County have tested positive for the virus 37,012 of them have recovered from the virus in the county according to the news release.
