Cameron County and Hidalgo County are having elections this Saturday, May 1.
Early voting, which allows voters to cast their votes earlier and avoid crowds on election day finishes today.
Voters in Hidalgo County can cast their ballots from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Tuesdays and Saturdays.
In Cameron County, voting polls will open from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday; from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Saturday.
Early voting locations for Hidalgo County are Fireman’s Pump House, Palm View Community Center, Lark Community Center, and Banworth Gym.
For Cameron County, early voting locations are: in Brownsville Main Office, Brownsville Public Library, Southmost Public Library, New Horizon Medical Center, Texas Southmost College, Good Shepherd Community Church, and Brownsville Events Center.
Port Isabel’s early voting polls are San Benito Community Building, Rio Hondo ISD, Los Indios Community Center, Port Isabel Event and Cultural Center, South Padre Island City Hall, Laguna Vista City Hall, and Port Isabel High School.
For the City of Comb, early voting polls will be open today from 8:00 am to 8:00 pm at the Combes Community Center, for the City of Primera their City Hall will be available for voters to cast its early vote.
For ISD elections today will also be the last day for early elections, Los Fresnos’ early voting locations are Los Fresnos Community Center, Olmito Elementary School, Rancho Verde Elementary School, Resaca Middle School, and for Santa Maria Elections Santa Maria ISD Administrative Bldg. Board Room will also be open from 8:00 am to 8:00 pm.
