Hidalgo County has reported 134 new positive cases of COVID-19, and two coronavirus-related deaths.
A man in his 50s died as a result of the virus.
The death toll since the COVID-19 pandemic began is at 2,905 people who have died because of coronavirus.
From the 134 people who tested positive 13 are from the age group of 0 to 19 years old, 37 are in their 20’s, 74 are in their 30’s, 7 are in their 40’s and 3 are 50 years old and above.
Vaccination is still ongoing for Hidalgo County, experts recommend getting the vaccine if you meet the age and health requirements.
