Hidalgo County has reported 65 new positive cases of COVID-19, and zero coronavirus-related deaths.
The death toll since the COVID-19 pandemic began is at 2,911 people who have died because of coronavirus.
From the 65 cases reported 35 are confirmed, 25 are probable and 5 are suspect, according to the news release.
Vaccination is still ongoing for Hidalgo County, experts recommend getting the vaccine if you meet the age and health requirements.
