After more than a year since the Pandemic started, things are finally looking up in terms of nursing shortage in the Rio Grande Valley.
Nurses faced a tool mentally and physically since their work dramatically changed during the pandemic, seeing a surge in critically health patiences.
Now the RGV shortage is slowing down, with newly graduated nurses entering the field and nurses coming home after helping other areas that were in need of nurses.
Health officials are hopeful that nurses are now better prepared to help patiences and to work through what we all hope are the last days of the pandemic.
